Fundraising Plan
Fundraising will be concentrated in the summer months when training providers take their annual 2 month recess. All staff will be involved in this process in the summer months. The Centre Manager should look to submit a funding bid on a monthly basis throughout the year. Emphasis should be put upon core funding as this directly affects the long term sustainability of the centre. Project work should be bid for with staff time taken into consideration and local community demand. Bids should not be made just for fundraising sake and because opportunity permits. Fundraising should be demand led and all projects manageable. All fundraising should be done under the direction of the manager although suggestions can be put forward to the manager. Ultimately, the centre manager has the final say as to whether a funding bid should be put forward or not. Full project recovery costs should be attributed to every project bid where possible. Long term fundraising should be targeting larger premises as well as longer term core costs.
