Projects
Many projects have taken place from Hibbert Centre such as poverty awareness seminars, arts exhibitions, open days, various trips, youth development, community murals and others. One of our projects is to encourage local BME groups to visit and get more involved in the countryside over the last few years.

We are hoping to embark on a large project beginning early next year. It is envisaged that the project will engage BME communities from local towns in the North West region with a view to involve them much more with the countryside. This will be done with three aims. The first being, to raise awareness to whats available to visit and to organise visits. The second, to get active representation on environmental/countryside bodies and finally to raise awareness and engage BME communities into bio diversity schemes.
